love & fresh air or logic & practicality?
the past month being eventful as it is, i often wondered when people talk about fate and love. the common terms used are 'maybe we were not meant to be' 'god has other plans' 'we did not understand each other' 'i dont deserve you' so on and so forth.
i had an argument with a friend, love & fresh air or logic & practicality... which is powerful?
strangely, i supported love & fresh air. my argument was that we can find logic & practicality in everything we do, in turn love & fresh air can make the most illogical & impractical thing logical & practical. that is the power of love & fresh air. it breaks all barriers, crosses all boundaries, impossible is nothing (to borrow a familiar quote). its absolutely amazing what it can do.
i have seen the most amazing things happen to couples... which at that time, i thought will never work out but it actually did. my class mate, fought hard for 3 long years with her parents to get married to the one she loved. it was the most inspiring story i have seen from a good friend. they fell in love in college, parents did not agree, she waited patiently and worked her way with her parents to get married to him!

in the 3 years, she was under house arrest, she had no connection to the outside world. She used to send letters via her servant out to him by postal mail. its the stuff you usually see in movies, i admire her focus and above all her trust in the relationship under such difficult circumstances. the point is, she made it. she got married to him, started a family, started a career and also now happily they are settled in the UK with their own business.
i am in a cross road myself, after my engagement got called off... i wondered who would marry me after this. i am hopeful of the future... this not the end or the begining. somewhere some place you have a person who is there for you. its just a matter of time.

i have faith in Love & Fresh Air, its more powerful and can trancend boundaries like no other. i just heard a quote from a friend - everything seems possible when i know you are with me. its admirable.
nice one Nadir. well one good thing which has come out has been your interest in writing. There is a famous saying "Everything will come to pass". Good or bad things will always change. let us hope for the best.
